World Oceans Day is a public awareness family event on 8 June hosted by Sang Foundation & partners Precious Plastic, Grin Green International, Eco Beasts and Trash Hero with the support of Alliance Française Bangkok and IRD (French Research Institute for Development). A day for the entire family, the event starts with a film screening for kids, followed by concerts, civic forum, workshops and entertainment. The weekend of 8-9 June is time for one of Thailand’s most popular mass participation races, the Laguna Phuket Marathon.
