Meet in Thailand
divides the country into four regions:
 The
Bangkok metropolitan area
The
South (including Phuket, Krabi,
Koh Samui and Hat Yai )
The
North and Northeast
(including Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Khon Kaen
)
The
Central Region (Including Ayutthaya,
Pattaya, Hua Hin and other, smaller, destinations
around the country). |

| PRICING —
Meet in Thailand's hotel classifications |
|
For ease of reference
— and to provide a benchmark for identifying
a hotel within your budget — Meet in Thailand
divides hotels into three classifications, based
on the HIGH SEASON 'rack
rate' for a 'standard' room
(a 'standard' room = the lowest-rated room
in the hotel, irrespective of the hotel's
own classification: 'superior', 'deluxe' etc.)
While MICE groups will not pay high season rack
rate, the classification system indicates the price
band of each hotel, and the hotel's position within
that band. |
