About Koh Samui

Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui is Thailand's second-largest island after Phuket, although it is much less developed. Sandy beaches, coconut trees and thick jungle cover the island extensively.

Originally settled as a fishing village, the island retains a strong feel of times gone by despite the rapid growth of tourism and development.
